Thank you for the article and concept.

Thank you for the article and concept. For me, the "third place" is not just a "physical" space or place. It is more about being open in each moment to the possibility of connection. Is it possible to be lonely and surrounded by others regardless of the space or its…

Conversations at Year’s End

I often quote or misquote my friend and colleague, Susan Scott, who said in Fierce Conversations something like “most conversations are with myself.. occasionally they include others”. The conversation that follows was intended to be with me, myself, but…

Your welcome.

Your welcome. I've watched over and over with awe the conversations between K and Bohm. And I've have read whatever I can of both. Mostly, I love the process of inquiry that they both bring to life in their relationship. The questions seem to just flow from each other in the context of the learning. It provides a glimpse for me of possilities. Your pulling much of this thinking together in your posts allows for better understanding for me and a different lens of perspective. Love it!

Tim Ferriss’s Assistant’s Sudden Resignation Serves as a Warning for Trying to Have It All

I am reminded of a phrase from a friend/colleague.

I am reminded of a phrase from a friend/colleague. "If you don't know the difference between good advice and bad advice then no advice will help". In my work as a CEO Peer Group Faciitator we have a rule that each member was forbidden to give advice that they were not competent to give. Can you imagine how much conversation/noise that eliminated? How would you lead your life if there were no "gurus" to tell you?

Is an "interlude" the same as a "pause"?

Is an "interlude" the same as a "pause"? On another note I am reminded of Tom Friedman in "Thank You for Being Late" making the distinction between humans on pause and computers. Computers stop working while human start working. By that I took it to me the work of actually being human.

Good on you for getting started.

Good on you for getting started. I am an old fart who has found writing and publishing to be daunting much of my life. Most days I am immobilized and do not write. Every once in while I'll surface. David Whyte, I think, poetically wrote about writing to find your voice. I hope that you'll find yours and write. You have one more follower cheering you on.
