For many years my wife and I visited the Monterey/Carmel/Big Sur area of Calif. It is a wonderful place to be as a visitor. When my wife passed I returned to many of the places that we had shared time. One of those places is the location in your photo.

I often wondered what it might be like to live there. But the fact that we could return each year, enjoy in the special place was, well kind of perfect for us.

Yours reminded me of a line in an Eagles tune "if you call a place paradise you can kiss it good bye". We humans have a way of making paradise unlivable.
