It may reveal a fatal flaw in my own character but there is a part of me that feels all those rich investors got what they deserved as basically "colluding" in the scam. Should they be accountable beyond their financial losses? Maybe some form of public shaming?

Pillories? Class action on behalf of every small investor who followed their lead? Every lawyer and investment banker that violated their fiduciary duties along the way?
