Just the title "life coach" smacks of hubris.

A really good friend who doesn't let you default yourself might be a really good life coach... until they aren't. I've titled my self in my work a "Guide". I'm not sure that it is any better than "Life Coach". I do leave out the word "life". On occasion I will substitute or add the word "Business" as a descriptor. Truth be told there are really no words that suffice to describe the sort of "fairly dust" magic that occurs in the deep human connection of "non advice giving" "showing up" " meeting them where and as they are, and "insisting on their better angels" process. Some financial skin in the game aids things....

Clients retain me most often for business reasons. Real people always show up. I am so grateful for the privilege.
