Thanks for this. Every time I see this construct I am drawn to the stage before what you describe as the 1st or early stage. Or, to put it another way "what do we come into the world with"? Is there a pre-faith stage?

If so, what does one call or label this stage. For lack of a better word let's call it the "innocence" stage. What if the stages are really a circle that close "beyond faith"?
